Because it is windproof, cold air is kept out, and because it is breathable, warm air on the inside is quickly transported to the outside. Plus the lining is made of mesh, which makes the rain jacket even lighter and allows the air to circulate better. The Schöffel jacket has two outer pockets with zips that will keep your valuables dry. And when you don't need the jacket, it packs down small and can be put away in the integrated pack-away bag.
